This year we are offering our usual line-up of bulls drawn from leading industry sires and with the performance you expect to lift your herd. There are first sons of The Ranch Brigadier B21, the final drop of Cannawigra Windstorm X109 sons and also bulls by Bowen Tornado Z260 (ET).
All have well-developed carcase qualities and are balanced, quiet with good skin and hair and abundant power. Oldfield bulls are commercially oriented and they come straight out of the paddock so you know exactly what you're getting.
To our knowledge, we are the only stud to offer you a raw daily weight gain (DWG) from our 210 day 100% grass-fed trial. Grazing only on unimproved native pasture, you can use this figure as a baseline to make an immediate assessment of our bulls' performance. It's a handy in-herd ranking of our bulls. Knowing their growth on basic pasture also means that the better feed you offer them, the better their DWG.
You are welcome to inspect our bulls from 11am, with sale-o! at 1pm. Refreshments will be provided with all proceeds to PediatRic and Maternity Services, Gunnedah District Hospital.
